VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE,  by Christopher Durang, opened on Broadway at the Golden Theatre in March 2013. It received 6 Tony Award nominations and won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play. It also won every Best Play Award of the 2012-13 season, including the Drama Desk, Drama League, New York Critics, and Outer Critics Circle Awards. The production has subsequently been produced at major theaters throughout the U.S., with more than 70 productions licensed during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.

On the heels of its sold-out, smash-hit engagements at McCarter Theatre Center and Lincoln Center Theater, the Broadway production starred Tony and Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver, Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce, and Tony nominee Kristine Nielsen.

Parker isn’t like anyone else. When he wakes up in the morning and leaves his apartment, he hears people singing, he sees people dancing – and no other person on earth knows this is happening. Because Parker’s life is a musical. And Parker hates musicals. Follow Parker’s journey, both hilarious and human, as he struggles to hide his predicament from the world, tries to save a rock band, is pursued by a mysterious blogger, and possibly even finds love along the way.

Based on the award-winning West End and Broadway hit comedy by Ken Ludwig, Lend Me A Tenor The Musical is a musical play that sings and dances its way through a riotous, unpredictable explosion of mistaken identities and unexpected romance. Lead producers Martin Platt, David Elliott and Eileen and Allen Anes worked alongside Jason E. Grossman and M. Kilburg Reedy of Radio Mouse Entertainment.

Lend Me A Tenor The Musical’s hilarious story is set in Cleveland in 1934, where Tito Merelli, the world’s greatest tenor, has arrived to save the struggling local opera company by singing a benefit performance of Verdi’s Otello. When he is unexpectedly incapacitated, Max, the opera director’s meek assistant, is given the daunting task of finding a last minute replacement. Chaos ensues – including mistaken identities, slamming doors, a jealous wife, shrimp gone bad and the Cleveland Police department.

Lend Me A Tenor The Musical had its Olivier Award-nominated West End premiere at the Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End in June 2011.  The show earned four-and five-star notices and regular standing ovations from its delighted audiences.

Ezra Pound was one of the most famous–and infamous–poets of his generation. He wrote operas. He translated works from Greek, Chinese and Japanese. He was instrumental in launching the careers of T.S. Eliot and James Joyce and counted among his friends Hemingway, Robert Frost, and Allen Ginsberg. He was also a womanizer, a racist, an absent father, and a traitor to his country.

Sallie Bingham’s compelling new play spans over twenty years of Pound’s life, exposing the man behind the genius through the eyes of the five women who loved him. Under Martin Platt’s direction, TREASON asks: did Ezra Pound betray his wife, mistress, girlfriend, daughter and his country – or in the end – only betray himself.
